Rachel + Tommy's Wedding at The Eastern
It’s only the end of August but this is when a hint of fall starts to stir. Looking over our past wedding photos I came across Rachel and Tommy’s wedding at The Eastern. The Billings shared their photos of the day and they’re so vibrant and full of fall energy! It’s so refreshing to see a bold wedding color palette. Rachel’s bouquet and the bridesmaids dresses had rich reds and oranges. At the reception, glowing lanterns adorned each table. It’s the perfect fall wedding, even though it was August 25th. Plus, as a bonus, their anniversary is today! The Eastern was a perfect fit with its exposed brick walls and tall orange industrial ceiling. It’s a nice juxtaposition between industrial and warm.
Music was important to Rachel and Tommy from the very beginning. In Rachel’s initial email to us she said her and Tommy love “both modern country and top 40 with some oldies but goodies.” They also wanted to make sure none of the corny or cheesy wedding songs were played. They came to the right place because we customize every wedding. Rachel and Tommy were able to chose a lot of “must play” songs in the Online Entertainment Planner and succeeded in getting their perfect playlist. They chose Garth Brooks, Chris Stapleton, along with recent hits like Justin Bieber and Bruno Mars. The top 40 classics that always get the dance floor moving were Whitney Houston, Michael Jackson, Cyndi Lauper, Journey and who doesn’t love “My Girl” by the Temptations. Nobody I tell you. Nobody! They even threw in some songs from Hamilton. Needless to say, Rachel and Tommy’s wedding was a so much fun! Happy Anniversary!
